Piper Adonya is an award-winning art director, illustrator, and surface designer whose work brings intention, beauty, and soul into every space and story she touches. She is guided by a belief that visual language can heal, inspire, and reconnect us with who we truly are.
Piper graduated with honors from Kendall College of Art and Design with a BFA in Conceptual Illustration and Digital Media. Her style is rich with layered meaning, from hand-carved patterns drawn from nature to narrative-driven compositions that live on walls, products, and brand experiences alike.
As the lead designer for the 2023 Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens campaign, Piper saw her illustrations wrapped on a Lexus RX350 Luxury SUV. Her work spans brand campaigns and cultural storytelling for clients including Founders Brewing Company, New Holland Brewing Company, Condado, and the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance. She is a two-time ArtPrize award winner and a Gold Medal recipient of the International Serious Play Awards, with additional recognition from the Eclipse Awards. In collaboration with 9B Collective, Piper contributed design work to the independent documentary Black Barbie, which was acquired by Netflix and Shondaland and has since won two Daytime Emmy Awards.
